Amazing deal alert: Oslo to Asia in business class from £1,002 for late 2020 travel

Here’s another example of how starting your trip on mainland Europe can save you a ton of money on return flights to Asia. This time, the flights are to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and Bangkok (BKK) with a mixture of SAS, Swiss and Swiss’ sister leisure airline Edelweiss Air, from just £1,002 return in business class. Flights are available in November and December 2020.

The flights to Ho Chi Minh include a lengthy layover in Zurich in each direction, but it’s a great opportunity to discover another city that you might not otherwise have done. It will also give you a chance to experience one of the best airport terraces in the world in Zurich’s business class lounge.

To book these flights, head to Google Flights and enter Oslo (OSL) as your origin city and either Bangkok (BKK) or Ho Chi Minh (SNG) as your destination. Be sure to set the class of service to business and then scroll through the calendar function to find dates that work for you. To book, click through to one of the options to book directly with an airline. For Ho Chi Minh (SGN), booking with Lufthansa through Google Flights worked best, while for Bangkok (BKK), the best option was directly through the Swiss website.
