Book now: Great business-class Avios availability for the whole family to Miami in 2021

Miami is a popular beach destination year-round. While there are often great cash sale fares in economy, it can be difficult to find availability in premium cabins using miles and points, especially during the U.K. winter period.

Right now, there is exceptional Club World (business class) availability for your family with British Airways from London (LHR)

to Miami (MIA) in January and February 2021. How good? Every single day from 8 January to 12 February, there are at least four seats in Club World available book with Avios — that’s more than 30 days in a row.

You can use the Seatspy program to quickly show availability across multiple months — a solid green circle represents Club World availability on peak dates, with the hollow circle showing availability on off-peak dates.

On off-peak dates, you’ll need 62,500 Avios each way, and on peak dates, it’s 75,000 Avios each way, per person, plus fees, taxes and surcharges. This would also be a great use of a Companion Voucher.

Coming back from Miami to the U.K., the availability isn’t as quite as good — especially for four people. However, if you’re willing to travel in pairs, then there’s a good amount of availability for two people in Club World.

If you don’t currently have enough Avios in your Executive Club account, there are a few ways to near-instantly increase that balance. You could transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Avios at a 1:1 ratio. Alternatively, British Airways just unveiled its best-ever buy-Avios promotion wherein you can buy the points for less than 1p apiece — a deal that could net you good value.
