Bristol Airport
has announced that Car Park Panto, in partnership with the Birmingham Stage
Company and Horrible Histories, will organise two performances of Horrible Christmas
at the airport on December 19.

In response to
increased demand from around the UK as many Christmas events are being
cancelled due to Covid 19, Car Park Panto and others will hold a performance of
Horrible Christmas at Bristol Airport on December 19.

Staging one of
the most popular family festive highlights in a car park, Horrible Christmas
presents the evolutionary story of Christmas celebrations, enabling families to
enter into the festive spirit in a safe, socially distanced manner from the
comfort of their own car. The live theatrical show through the history of
Christmas will feature Victorian villains to medieval monks, Puritan parties to
Tudor treats, as well as prominent faces likes Charles Dickens, Oliver
Cromwell, King Henry VIII and St Nicholas.

‘We can’t wait to
be back on stage in cities and towns that will be crying out for a Christmas
show to entertain their families. As you’d expect from Horrible Histories, it’s
not a traditional pantomime, but a journey through the story of Christmas in
the company of the season’s most fabulous characters. It’s the perfect story
for families this winter, as one young boy battles to save Christmas for the
world, in this hilarious, joyous and moving celebration.’

Andrew Morris,
Retail Operations Manager, Bristol Airport said, ‘We are delighted to be able
to host CAR PARK PANTO, in partnership with the Birmingham Stage Company and
Horrible Histories, two amazing performances of HORRIBLE CHRISTMAS at Bristol
Airport on 19th December. This year more than ever families need to have the
opportunity of enjoying theatre, entertainment and performances in a Covid safe
way. This innovative approach will ensure that Christmas cheer and fun can be
enjoyed by all the family.’

There are limited tickets for each show priced at £47 per car (£2.50 booking fee applies). Tickets and Terms are available at carparkparty.com.
