Deal alert: London to 5 European cities from £18 return
As the travel industry reopens following COVID-19 shutdowns, TPG suggests that you talk to your doctor, follow health officials’ guidance and research local travel restrictions before booking that next trip. We will be here to help you prepare, whether it is next month or next year.
Whether we like to admit it or not, summer is coming to a close, which means beach breaks might not be the top of your travel list right now. City breaks are a great alternative to escape for a long weekend, and we’re currently seeing return flights to some exciting European cities from just £18 return.
Choose from Gdansk (GDN) on the North coast of Poland, Bordeaux (BOD) in the South of France if you fancy your hand a bit of surfing; Dublin (DUB) for a weekend drinking Guinness; Oslo (OSL) for some Norwegian charm or Vilnius (VNO) in Lithuania for an authentic off-the-beaten-track experience.
To book, head to Google Flights and enter London as your departure city and the city of choice as your arrival destination. Then, all you need to do is use the built-in calendar function to find the best fares and dates for you and follow the prompts to book directly with the airline.
Remember, Ryanair and Wizz Air’s lowest fares don’t include a checked bag. But, if you’re clever with your packing, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Don’t forget: flying low-cost doesn’t mean you have to have a low-cost experience. Check out our guide on how to upgrade your low-cost experience.
