Another advantage with going to Italy right now is that the government has banned all overhead bin storage

on flights to and from the country, meaning that if you’re flying Ryanair, you get to check your cabin bag for free, as long as it fits with the airline’s size restrictions. Additionally, given that Italy is on the U.K. government’s travel corridor list, you won’t have to quarantine for 14 days on return to England.
