Singapore Airport offers overnight glamping in terminal
Night at the airport.
Singapore’s latest novel attempt to make money during the Covid-19 pandemic involves a glamping experience right in the middle of Singapore Changi Airport.
Guests can bed down in Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley – an indoor garden spanning five storeys – or the Cloud9 Piazza, located on the top floor of the airport.
The tents can accommodate three adults or a family of four, with availability for a daytime slot or an overnight stay.
Toiletries are also provided and guests can shower at the Changi Lounge or YotelAIR depending on their tent location.
The tents offer views of the Jewel’s famed Rain Vortex, the biggest indoor waterfall in the world.
Prices start at S$360 ($270) a night at weekends, while a three-hour picnic slot costs S$200 ($150) at weekends or S$150 ($112) on weekdays.
