Two men kicked off United flight for fighting over elbow space
Two passengers get into a fight over an armrest.
A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas had to return to the gate after two male passengers became embroiled in a physical altercation over ‘elbow placement’ on armrests.
According to reports, neither of the pair were injured in the incident but the altercation was heated enough for the captain to kick both off the plane.
“On my first flight in 15 months, of course we were rerouted back to the gate because two passengers got into a physical altercation over elbow placement upon arm rests,” Google product director Jack Krawczyk said on Twitter.

The two men were detained when a police officer arrived at the gate, however, neither decided to pursue further police action before being rebooked on separate flights.
In a statement the airline said: “United flight 634 from San Francisco to Las Vegas returned to the gate due to a disruptive incident involving two customers prior to take off.”
