Deal alert: Bristol, London and Manchester to Porto from £26 return
As the travel industry reopens following COVID-19 shutdowns, TPG suggests that you talk to your doctor, follow health officials’ guidance and research local travel restrictions before booking that next trip. We will be here to help you prepare, whether it is next month or next year.
Last week saw the long-anticipated return of travel to Portugal as the U.K. government finally added it to the travel corridor list. That means no quarantine is now required on returning to the U.K. from Portugal and you’re free to make the most of the low fares we’re seeing to the beautiful city of Porto (OPO) from just £26 return.
It’s the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, or even a longer-trip.
Usually low fares like these are reserved for the various London airports, but at £26 from Manchester and £31 from Bristol, these are a rare surprise.
To book, head to Google flights. Then, all you need to do is set either Bristol (BRS), Manchester (MAN) or London (LGW/LTN) as your departure city and Porto (OPO) as your destination. Next, using the built-in price comparison you’ll be sure find the lowest fares and dates that suit you best. To complete the booking, make sure to click through directly to the airline’s website rather than an online travel agency.
Remember, EasyJet and Ryanair‘s lowest fares don’t include a checked bag. But, if you’re clever with your packing, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Don’t forget: flying low-cost doesn’t mean you have to have a low-cost experience. Check out our guide on how to upgrade your low-cost experience.
