Tennessee woman faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
A Tennessee woman turned herself into the FBI on Tuesday after she was accused of assaulting two flight attendants during a Spirit Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Nashville.
Amanda Renee Henry, 43, allegedly consumed so many alcoholic drinks that one of the crew members decided to stop serving her, according to the criminal complaint.
She reportedly became disruptive and was witnessed by other passengers vaping during the flight.
She also allegedly placed her hands on two male passengers’ legs and made lewd sexual advances, according to the complaint.

When a flight attendant asked Henry to change seats, she refused, grabbed her carry-on bag and ran toward the front of the plane screaming, “I’m getting off this plane” while the flight was still in mid-air.
Henry kicked and hit a flight attendant who blocked the main cabin door, as well as another flight attendant who tried to restrain her, the criminal complaint said.
She was eventually restrained with zip ties before the plane landed at Nashville International Airport, where she resisted getting into a police vehicle.
Henry was charged with public intoxication, however, after spending the night in jail, she was released and the case was dismissed.
After further investigation by the FBI, Henry was charged with interfering with flight crew members and attendants during the November 29 flight.
If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
