Maldives scrap the need for a negative PCR test for vaccinated tourists starting from tomorrow! 
Maldives Ministry of Tourism announced that starting from tomorrow, April 20th, all visitors that got the final dose of the Covd-19 vaccine two weeks prior to their arrival to the Archipelago don’t need to present a negative PCR test anymore.
According to Maldives Immigration website, “effective from 20th April 2021 onwards, the requirement for negative PCR test and mandatory Quarantine does not apply for travelers who present proof of completion of Vaccination (i.e. WHO’s EUL listed and/or Maldives Food and Drug Authority approved vaccines only) followed by the completion of 14 days period prior to arrival in the Maldives”.
To get this exemption, “travelers having proof of completion of COVID19 vaccination shall upload a copy of the document to the IMUGA portal”. This proof must contain the name of the recipient, date of birth, the dates of vaccination of both doses the brand, and the name of the authority that administered the vaccine.
For all other visitors, including those who are partly vaccinated or full vaccinated but under the 14-day between the last dose and the arrival to the island, the entry rules remain the same: You will need “a negative COVID-19 PCR test result with a sample taken not more than 96 hours prior to their departure to the Maldives”
