Thailand to reopen from November.
Thailand plans to fully re-open to vaccinated tourists from countries deemed low risk from November 1, in a bid to revive the country’s collapsed tourism sector.
Fully vaccinated travellers from at least 10 low-risk nations, including the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Germany, and China, will soon enjoy quarantine-free entry to Thailand.
Passengers will need to show a negative test result taken no more than 72-hours prior to arrival, as well as another negative test upon landing in the country.

As of Monday, 48% of Thais have received at least a single vaccine dose, while just over 30% have been double-jabbed.
Thailand has been recording more than 10,000 positive infections daily since July, prompting some health officials to criticise the ambitious re-opening.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha admitted that “this decision comes with some risk”
“The time has come for us to ready ourselves to face the coronavirus and live with it as with other endemic infections and diseases, much as we have learnt to live with other diseases with treatments and vaccinations,” he said.
Before the pandemic, Thailand attracted nearly 40 million visitors a year. making up almost 20% of its national income.
However, Covid-related travel restrictions have left the economy battered, contributing to its worst performance in more than 20 years.
It is estimated that Thailand lost about $50bn in tourism revenue in 2020.
